Small in scope, deep in application.
Guardmex was registered in 2023. The engineers behind it have spent more than a decade in gas detection. We build for specific settings rather than for a catalogue, and we say so when a requirement sits outside what we do.
What we do
Three lines of business, one engineering team behind all of them.
Gas detection instruments
Flammable, toxic and VOC detection across portable, handheld and fixed formats, deployed in fire and rescue, oil and gas, mining and metallurgy, aerospace, pharmaceutical and food production.
Environmental monitoring systems
Handheld, portable and fixed detection systems that monitor multiple gas parameters continuously and push readings to a central monitoring platform.
Integrated monitoring solutions
TVOC online monitoring, wireless emergency response networks and boiler NOx monitoring, built to turn a reading into an operational decision.
Inside the factory
Six stations, photographed on site. We keep the same six views updated so that a buyer can compare what they see here with what they see on a visit.
How a project runs
Four stages, and the first three happen before anything is manufactured.
Survey
We start from the process, the layout and the applicable standard, not from a catalogue.
Design
Detection points, sensing principle per channel, alarm thresholds and interlock logic.
Install
Commissioning support, with the wiring and calibration records handed over at the end.
Operate
Calibration cycle, sensor replacement and data review for as long as the site runs.
How we work
Three commitments that shape how we take on work.
Depth over breadth
We would rather solve one setting properly than ship a catalogue that covers everything shallowly. When an application needs a sensing principle we do not have, we say so at the quotation stage.
Compliance first
Equipment is specified against the standard that applies to the site, not against what happens to be in stock. If the installation needs a certificate we do not hold, that becomes a conversation before the order, not after.
Long-term service
A detector is a commitment that runs for years: calibration, sensor replacement, data review. We work on that horizon rather than on a one-off transaction.
