A single gas channel in a 97 × 42 mm aluminium barrel, IP65, about 200 g. Built for fixed integration.
The CH packages a single gas channel in a 97 × 42 mm aluminium barrel rated IP65, at about 200 g. It is the variant for fixed integration: machine enclosures, ducting, cabinets and outdoor instrument boxes where the sensing element needs mechanical protection.
Diffusion and flow-through sampling are both offered. The gas channel is chosen from more than 500 options at order time, with a range to match: %LEL for combustibles, %VOL for oxygen, ppm for toxics and VOCs.
Power input is 3-24 V DC, which covers both 5 V logic supplies and 24 V industrial rails. Output is UART, RS485, WiFi or Bluetooth.
Values below are for the standard configuration. Gas, range, sampling mode, housing and output are set at order, so confirm against the datasheet before design freeze.
Send the gases, the ranges and the host enclosure. We come back with a model recommendation, the datasheet and a price.
The specification above only makes sense alongside the constraints behind it. These notes explain how the numbers on this page are usually set.
Zeroing in ambient air assumes the ambient air contains nothing. In a plant it usually does. Span needs a concentration that someone has measured and certified, or the instrument is being told a number that is not true.
Read the guide →A cell that costs half as much and lasts a third as long costs more. Five-year cost is dominated by replacement interval, calibration labour and the cost of the day it stops working.
Read the guide →Specifying 0-1000 ppm where 0-100 ppm would do costs accuracy exactly where the alarm sits, and can hide a leak until it is large. Range selection is an accuracy decision.
